Blog up and running. Satisfactory theme installed; plenty of tweaking to go, but it supports the functionality I want just now. WPTouch installed to make reading on mobile less difficult. xml-rpc turned on and mobile client hooking in. The more I dig around, the more logical it seems to move the whole site onto WordPress.

That’s it.  It was as simple as using the RSS importer instead of the WordPress importer.  All up and running with the previous posts.  Fantastic.  Now to the business of getting it to look and function how I want and generally pimping the blog.
