It’s April 2026, and if you looked here recently you’d have seen a page that was a little out of date.
Holy Moly. It’s 2010, I’m married and have a child; who’s simply gorgeous in my totally unbiased opinion. This clearly means that this is no longer the web home just of Mark Begbie, but is now the home to Debs, Marcail, Mark and Mia all under one roof. In fact, you can see Debs and Mia to the left atop Blackness Castle on the Forth estuary.
If that sounds familiar, then you’ve been here. But don’t worry, you can still find that ancient history in the archive. Be warned, though, it was so out of date I couldn’t get an admin panel working so there might be the odd loose floorboard and shaky banister.
Now here’s the weird bit. When trying to straighten that out, I discovered an update I’d been working on around 2018. It’s all wrapped up in the same database somehow. When I did manage to update the system and get an admin panel, a whole other site appeared from the data. You can get the unseen “Historic Doglet Diaries” in addition. There’s a bit of renovation going on in here, but it should be a bit more stable than the Archive.
