Well, as you'll have gathered, I'm a begbie. There's a few of us around, but there don't actually seem to be that many. I have a family tree for the immediate family from two generations before my parents to their grandchildren and some great-grandchildren. One of my hopes for this site is that it will provide a portal to develop a bit more geneological information.
So if you're part of the diaspora then I'd be interested to hear from you. I can't promise to be the world's best at keeping in touch regularly, but I'm interested in finding out who and where you are. I'll hopefully be able to collate such information to the site in due course so others can get an idea of how Begbie's are distributed.
